The National Coalition of Motorcyclists (NCOM) is proud to announce the 33rd annual NCOM Convention.
Join hundreds of the movers and shakers of the motorcycle rights movement as we navigate the current state of affairs in the motorcycling world. The NCOM Convention, held annually in various locations across the United States, is where the many motorcycle clubs, organizations and legislative groups converge to discuss the future of motorcycling and how to assert and protect your rights as a biker. Seminars are held daily with past topics including How to Save a Biker’s Life (a crash-course on basic first aid for a downed biker), How to Work with Legislators in Your Area (a guide to creating biker-friendly legislation in your city or state) and Public Relations and your Organization (how to use and not use social media to benefit your organization).
Topics this year Tentatively include:
- What Successful People Do by Slider Gilmore
- You & Our Constitution
- Mock Legislation Session
- Veteran's Affairs
- Clean and Sober Round Table
Also taking place during the convention are the NCOM Board of Directors Meeting and the Silver Spoke Award banquet. The NCOM Board of Directors Meeting is where the governing body of the National Coalition of Motorcyclists meets with representatives from motorcycle organizations from around the United States to discuss changes in current laws, future prospects of pro-motorcycle law, discrimination and the best way to defend against it, in addition to other current events that affect bikers nationwide. The Silver Spoke Award ceremony is a banquet that is held to honor people that have made significant impacts on the world of motorcycling and helped to present a positive image of motorcycling in spite of the the unfair stigma that is often given to bikers.
